Onyxia's Lair

Onyxian Warder
Onyxia's Lair Trash Mobs: Onyxian Warder All that lies between you and Onyxia is 4 Onyxian Warders. The Onyxian Warders are spread out throughout the tunnel and can be single pulled. The Warders have a nasty Fire Nova with a large radius. The fire damage can hit in the range of 1500 with a radius of 20 yards. In addition to the fire nova Warders have the ability to Cleave, debuff with Pierce Armor (reduces armor by 75% for 20 sec), and Flame Lash (100-130 fire damage and reduces FR by 68 for 20 sec).

Spawn timer: Onyxian Warders will respawn shortly after Onyxia is in combat. This is to prevent players from dying and zerging her. Warders can also leash to the raid party if they are aggroed. Warders will also respawn after an instance reset, so clearing them is a must on each attempt.
 
Onyxian Whelps
Onyxia's Lair Trash Mobs: Whelp Eggs These little guys do not show their heads until phase 2 of the encounter or if a player disturbs the eggs. The Whelps hit in the range of 150-200 damage and are easily destroyed by targeted AoE.
 
Onyxia's Lair Trash Mobs: Whelps During the scripted event of phase 2 Whelp Eggs will automatically break releasing Whelps into the play area. There will be 12-18 Whelps from both the east and west passages. If a player comes into close proximity of an egg it will break releasing 3-5 Whelps. This is an extremely important factor if you consider the encounter wide fear of phase 3. Getting feared into the eggs will cost you 50DKP;p After the initial spawn in phase 2 Whelp Eggs have a chance to break if the encounter is taking to long. Normaly this will release 3-5 Whelps into the play area.

Spawn timer: These guys are perpetual. No matter how many eggs get broken, eggs will remain to spawn more Whelps.
